DRYSURE INSTRUCTIONS

How to Use Drysure Boot & Shoe Dryers

Drysure removes moisture, sweat, and odor from footwear without electricity, batteries, or heat. It helps keep ski boots, snowboard boots, running shoes, cycling shoes, and everyday footwear dry, fresh, and ready for your next use.

After skiing, snowboarding, running, cycling, or any activity, place Drysure inside your footwear as soon as you remove your foot. Leave them inside until you need your footwear again. There is nothing to switch on or activate — Drysure works automatically by absorbing moisture from the inside.

Storage After Use

Once removed from your footwear, always store Drysure inside the PVC pouch provided.

This prevents them from absorbing moisture from the surrounding air and keeps them working at full capacity.

Optional Pre-Use Activation

Drysure is ready to use straight out of the pouch.

However, if they have been left outside the pouch or you want maximum performance before a trip, you can pre-activate them by placing them on a warm radiator or heating the inner bead bags in an oven at 100°C (212°F) for one hour.

When to Reactivate Drysure

Drysure can typically absorb up to 10 days of moisture before needing reactivation.

If drying becomes slower or your footwear remains damp longer than usual, it is time to recharge them.

How to Reactivate Drysure

There are three effective methods.

  1. Place them on a warm radiator when not in use.
  2. Leave them in direct sunlight such as on a windowsill.
  3. For the most effective recharge, remove the outer fabric shell and place the inner bead bags on the middle or lower shelf of an oven at 100°C (212°F) for one to two hours. A fan-assisted oven provides the best results.

Drying Soaked Boots or Shoes

If your boots or shoes are heavily soaked, some preparation will improve drying performance.

Pour out any excess water first, then use a towel or newspaper to absorb loose moisture. A brief burst of warm air from a hairdryer can help warm the remaining moisture.

Once prepared, insert fully reactivated Drysure dryers and leave them inside the footwear for up to 24 hours in a dry environment such as an airing cupboard. This helps remove moisture quickly and prevents odor-causing bacteria and fungus from developing.

Everyday Wet Footwear

If your footwear is only damp from sweat or rain, simply insert Drysure after use and leave overnight.

Cleaning

To keep Drysure clean and hygienic, wash the outer plastic shells (not the silica bead insert!) in warm soapy water as needed.

Safety & Care

  • Do not microwave Drysure.
  • Do not grill them.
  • Do not place them on a high oven shelf.
  • Do not submerge them in water.
  • Do not ingest the silica beads.
  • Keep away from children and pets.

Important Note

If drying very wet footwear, you may need to reactivate Drysure immediately after use.
